Terms of service

These terms explain how our services work and what you can expect from us. We have kept them short and in plain language. By asking us to start work, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

YourSideTech is an independent IT advisory service, run online from India. We review IT quotes and proposals for businesses and give advice from the buyer's side. For questions or support, email support@yoursidetech.com.

2. Our services

• Quote Review: a written review of the quote or proposal you send us.
• Expert Consultation: time with a reviewer, charged by the hour.
• Managed IT: ongoing help, agreed separately in writing for each client.

3. How an engagement starts

You send us your documents. We reply with the exact fee and the date you will receive your report (or the time of your consultation). Work starts only after you have agreed to both and paid. Our written confirmation and your payment together form our agreement for that piece of work.

4. Fees and payment

Prices are shown on our pricing page in your currency, and the fee we confirm is the fee you pay. Fees are paid in advance: by UPI or bank transfer in India, and by a method we agree with you internationally. If any tax applies to your payment, we will show it before you pay. Nothing renews automatically.

5. Delivery

Everything we provide is digital. Your report is sent by email (and on WhatsApp if you prefer) by the agreed date. If we see that we cannot meet that date, we will tell you as soon as we know, and you can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund. Nothing is shipped physically.

6. Cancellations and refunds

See our cancellation and refund policy. In short: you get a full refund if you cancel before we start, or if we find we can't review your quote.

7. What our advice is, and isn't

We review the written proposal: scope, effort, rates, terms and what may be missing. We do not audit code, test software or check a vendor's past work, and we do not give legal, tax or financial advice. Our report is our honest professional opinion to help you decide. It is not a guarantee of any saving, price or vendor performance, and the final decision is always yours.

8. Your part

• Only send us documents you have the right to share.
• Tell us about anything that matters for the review, such as your budget, deadline or must-have features.
• Your report is for your own use in deciding and talking to your vendor. Please don't publish it or use it to criticise a vendor publicly; it reflects one quote at one point in time.

9. Confidentiality and independence

Your documents are seen only by the people reviewing them and are handled as described in our privacy notice. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement. You pay us, so we work for you: if we have a relationship with any vendor we mention, we will tell you upfront.

10. Our responsibility

We take care to get our reviews right. If a report contains a factual mistake about your quote, tell us within 14 days and we will correct it at no cost. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any piece of work is limited to the fee you paid for it, and we are not responsible for decisions you or your vendor make.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you pay applies to that work. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, have jurisdiction.
